Featuring a wonderfully watermelon flavor, this frozen treat is destined to become a summertime staple! And the best part is it’s only 5 ingredients! Sweetened with sugar water and enhanced with bright hints of lemon, this easy-to-make dessert is simply sublime. Just boil water and sugar together in a saucepan and allow to cool. Then blend the watermelon, lemon juice, lemon zest, and sugar water together in a blender and freeze. As soon as the mixture’s solid, it’s ready to eat. I recommend you pair it with hot sunshine and a refreshing swimming hole, but that’s just me.

Combine the water and sugar together in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and stir until the sugar has completely dissolved. Remove from heat and allow to cool completely.
Once the sugar water has cooled, pour into a blender with the rest of the ingredients. Pulse until just homogenous, taking care not to over blend.
Pour the mixture into a freezer proof container. Place in the freezer for at least 4 hours or overnight. Once the mixture has fully hardened, scrape into individual bowls and serve before it melts.
