If you’re ever in the mood for chocolate chip cookies- but don’t want to take the time to make individual cookie circles- don’t worry. You don’t have to! You can simply put the cookie dough into a baking pan and make them into bars!
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup Butter
- 3/4 cup Brown Sugar
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 2 tsp Vanilla
- 2 cups Flour
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- 1 tsp Salt
- 2 cups Chocolate Chips, plus more to garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Cream together the butter and sugars until fluffy and smooth. Add the eggs and vanilla and beat until combined.
- Add the flour, baking soda, salt and mix in until just incorporated. Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Press the cookie dough into a parchment paper lined 9 x 9 inch baking pan. Garnish with additional chocolate chips if desired.
- Bake for 30 or until baked all the way through. (AKA the center is no longer jiggly. If, as it cooks, the top looks too brown but the center isn’t fully cooked yet, cover the pan with aluminum foil and keep baking it until it’s fully cooked.) Remove from heat and allow to cool before serving.
