Sunflower Peep Brownie

These brownies are stunning from a bird’s eye view. But I’m of the opinion that brownies, even pretty brownies, are best enjoyed when eaten. It all starts with a fudgy brownie base gets slathered in rich chocolate frosting. The edge of the frosted brownie then gets ringed with yellow, chick shaped Peeps that look like sunflower petals. All of the frosting that is still exposed gets covered with two different sizes of chocolate chips- regular on the outside and mini in the center. So, this brownie pulls double duty. It’s a beautiful emblem of spring… and it’s a shot of chocolate straight to the taste buds. To your heart. To your soul!
