French Toast 1

Stuffed French Toast Cake

Ever have company over that you want to impress with an extra special breakfast? Be it relatives from out of town or a new special someone, this twist on a breakfast classic into a layered “cake” will make them feel important.

French Toast
 6 Slices of Bread
 2 Eggs
  cup Milk
 ¼ tsp Cinnamon
 ¼ tsp Nutmeg
 1 tsp Vanilla
Cream Cheese Filling
 8 oz Whipped Cream Cheese
 2 tbsp Brown Sugar

French Toast

Combine all ingredients except bread in a bowl and mix together until well blended. In a shallow pan or bowl, dip both sides of the bread in the mixture and then cook both sides until slightly brown. Arrange in two layers in pan, spreading cream cheese filling on top of each layer.

Fill and Serve

Mix together until smooth and spread on french toast layers. I sprinkled some extra cinnamon and nutmeg on top of my creation, but personalize your dish with whatever excites you. Garnish with fresh fruit and maple syrup.
