Scavenger Hunt Rice Crispy Eggs

Featuring a chocolate surprise, these rice crispy treats use plastic Easter eggs as a mold. Divide the rice crispy treats into separate bowls and add food coloring to create a verifiable rainbow of festive eggs. Press the colorful crispies into a greased egg mold and place a single egg shaped M&M in the middle. Bury the chocolate in crispy treats and close the mold over top the rice crispy. Remove the plastic mold and enjoy!

Eggs
 6 cups Rice Cereal
 1 10 oz Package Mini Marshmallows
 3 tbsp Butter
 Food Coloring
 Plastic Easter Egg Mold
 M&M Chocolate Eggs (or other small candy)

Prep

Combine the marshmallows and butter together in a large bowl. Microwave until the butter is melted and the marshmallows are fluffy and deformed. Stir in the rice cereal until well mixed. Separate into various bowls and add different colors of food dye. Work the food coloring into the rice crispy treats until the color is uniform.

Shape and Serve

Press the treats into a greased plastic Easter egg, hiding a small piece of candy in the center. Remove from the plastic egg and repeat until all the batter has been shaped.
