This brownie recipe has it all! It’s uber chocolaty, moist, dense, and outright delicious! Plus, it’s made from scratch- so you get full credit for all of that deliciousness!

- 8 oz Semisweet chocolate
- 1 1/2 sticks Butter
- 1 1/4 cups Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 2 tsp Vanilla
- 3/4 cup Flour
- 1/4 cup Cocoa Powder
- 1 tsp Salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Divide the 8 ounces of semisweet chocolate into two different bowls, each with 4 ounces of chocolate each. Set one bowl aside. Microwave the other bowl until the chocolate is melted.
- Cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs and vanilla; beat for another 1-2 minutes. Add the melted chocolate and beat until homogenous.
- Fold in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Once the mixture has come together, fold in the chocolate pieces you set aside earlier.
- Pour the batter into a greased and parchment paper lined 8 inch baking pan. Bake for 20-25 minutes. (Note: Removing it after 20 minutes will result in maximum fudginess.)
Notes
Opt for chocolate morsels instead of the traditional chocolate chips for an awesome gourmet touch!
