How To Make Nestle Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookies From Scratch

  • 2 1/4 cups Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 cup Butter
  • 3/4 cup Sugar
  • 3/4 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 cups Chocolate Chips
  • 1 cup Nuts (Optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt together in a small bowl. Mix to combine; set aside.
  3. Cream together the butter, sugar, and brown sugar. Once the mixture is light and fluffy, add the vanilla. Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing in between each addition.
  4. Add the dry ingredients, mixing until fully incorporated. Fold in the chocolate chips and nuts, if using. Portion out 1 tablespoon sized balls of cookie dough on a parchment paper lined cookie sheet.
  5. Bake for 9-11 minutes or until the edges of the cookie just turn brown. Remove from the oven and allow to cool on a wire rack until the cookies have set.
