Homemade Chocolate Mint Brownies

Just. Yum. This could easily be a new holiday favorite or, maybe, your new everyday favorite.

Brownies
 6 oz Unsweetened Chocolate
 ¾ cup Butter
 3 Eggs
 1 ½ cups Sugar
 ½ tsp Peppermint Extract
 ¾ cup Flour
Frosting
 1 cup Confectionery Sugar
 2 tbsp Milk
 1 tsp Peppermint Extract
 Green Food Coloring
Garnish
 2 oz Semisweet Chocolate

Prep

Melt unsweetened chocolate and butter together in a sauce pan inside of a water bath. In a separate bowl, beat eggs until frothy. Add sugar, extract and then stir into chocolate mixture. Then, pour mixture into buttered 9x13 inch pan and bake for 20-25 minutes. Finger should not leave an indent, but do not over bake.

Mix ingredients well and spread over cooled base.

Garnish

Place chocolate in a plastic bag, Melt and drizzle over mints. Cut into thin bars or squares.
