GIANT Vanilla Kinder Cookie

Units Scale

White Nutella Filling:

  • 1 cup Hazelnuts
  • 1 cup Almonds
  • 1 cup White Chocolate Chips, melted

Kinder Cookie:

  • 1 cup Butter
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 2 Egg yolks
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 2 1/2 cups Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 2/3 cup White Chocolate Chips
  • 20 bars Kinder Bueno Candy Bars, divided

White Nutella Filling:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Spread out your hazelnuts and almonds on a baking sheet and roast for 15 minutes or until they become fragrant. Then remove from the oven and allow to cool completely.
  3. Combine the cooled nuts in a food processor and blend until they become creamy and smooth. (First they will turn into small granular pieces. If you keep beating them, they will turn into a paste, which is what we want.)
  4. Add the melted white chocolate and beat until the entire mixture is thoroughly combined. Set aside for later

Kinder Cookie

  1. Cream together the butter and sugar. Beat until fluffy and smooth. Add the egg yolks and vanilla and beat until the mixture is uniform.
  2. Add the flour and baking powder, mixing until just combined. Fold in the white chocolate chips and 8 of the Kinder bars, broken into pieces. Reserve one third of the cookie dough for later.
  3. Press the remaining two thirds of the cookie dough into a 8 inch springform pan. Make sure that you press the dough up the sides of the pan to create a bowl shape.
  4. Pour the White Nutella recipe into the bottom of this bowl shape and spread smooth. Set the remaining Kinder bars on top of the White Nutella.
  5. Shape the reserved cookie dough into a disk shape the same diameter as your springform pan. Press this circle of cookie dough on top of your Kinder bar filling. Be sure to seal the edges of your cookie dough “bowl” to this cookie dough lid.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until cooked through. (AKA, the center isn’t super jiggly anymore.) Remove from heat and allow to cool before serving.
