Edible Oreo Cookie Dough
If you’re an Oreo fan, than this is the cookie dough for you! This delicious, seven ingredient recipe doesn’t take very long to make and is well worth the effort! Bursting with crushed cookies, this black and white edible cookie dough is a real crowd pleaser. Plus, it’s easy to refresh day-old cookie dough in the microwave so you have edible Oreo cookie dough all week long.

Of course, as with any edible cookie dough, remember to heat treat your flour before you start mixing. Raw flour sometimes contains E. Coli; but if you just bake your flour on a cookie sheet beforehand, the sustained heat of the oven kills off any potential bacteria. It only takes five minutes and yet this one, simple step can guarantee that your culinary adventures won’t make you sick. So, please don’t skip this step!

Recipe
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Heat treat the flour by baking it on a cookie sheet for 5-7 minutes to kill any potential bacteria. This makes it safe to consume raw- DO NOT skip this step. Remove the flour from the oven and allow to cool completely.
Cream the butter and sugar together. Once homogeneous, add the milk and vanilla; mix well. Next add the cooled flour and the salt; mix thoroughly. Fold in the Oreo pieces and serve.
