Double Chip Cookies

As soon as I introduced this twist on traditional chocolate chip cookies it became an instant family favorite. With butterscotch chips and pudding, this is a soft, melt in the mouth dessert perfect for every occasion. Holidays, church functions, you name it. But be warned: This cookie could become a delicious burden! My extended family loves them to the point that they demand I bring them to any family gathering.

Now that fall has rolled around, it’s time to start the time honored tradition of warming your house by turning on the oven. I actually prefer this recipe to regular chocolate chip cookies. And when they come out of the oven, I can’t even eat them they are so sweet! I have to wait for them to cool before I can enjoy them!

Quick shout out to my brother who is leaving his teens today and turning 20! Happy birthday bro, and your crazy idea of turning my love of baking into a “big thing” is turning out pretty fantastic. Love you and enjoy your new decade!
