Cookies
- 1 cup Butter
- 1 1/4 cups Sugar
- 3 Egg yolks
- 1 tbsp Honey
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 2 1/2 cups Flour
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Cream of tartar
- 1 tbsp Cinnamon
- 1/2 cup Sugar
Glaze
- 1 tbsp Honey
- 8 oz White chocolate
Instructions
Cookies
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg yolks, honey, vanilla. Combine the flour, baking powder, salt and cream of tartar. Gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well. Shape a small handful of dough into a 6 inch long log.
- In a shallow bowl, combine cinnamon and remaining sugar; roll log in mixture. Loosely coil log into a spiral shape and place on a greased baking sheet. Repeat until dough is gone. Sprinkle any remaining cinnamon sugar on top of cookies. Bake for 8-10 minutes. Cool cookies.
Glaze
- In a small bowl, melt white chocolate and mix with honey until smooth. Drizzle over cookies. Let stand until set… or just start eating.
