Chocolate Peanut Butter Pretzel Bars

While these bars start with a traditional cookie base, what really sets them apart are all the goodies sprinkled throughout. Chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, and pretzels all work together to create a crunchy, sweet and salty contrast that pairs seamlessly with the chewy cookie base. Chocolate Chip Bars
 2 cups Flour
 1 tsp Baking soda
 ½ tsp Salt
 ¾ cup Butter, room temperature
 1 cup Brown sugar
 ½ cup Sugar
 2 Eggs
 1 tbsp Vanilla
 1 cup Chocolate chips
 1 ½ cups Pretzels, coarsely chopped
Topping
 ¼ cup Peanut butter chips
 ¼ cup Chocolate chips
 ¼ cup Pretzels, coarsely chopped

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

In a medium bowl, whisk together dry ingredients. Cream sugars and butter together. Add eggs and vanilla, then blend in the dry ingredients. Fold in chocolate chips and pretzels. Pour in a greased 9 x 13 inch pan.

Topping

In a small bowl, mix together topping ingredients. Sprinkle evenly over the top of the batter. Bake for 30 minutes until golden brown.
