So cute, so easy you have to ❤ it. Originally we bought the strawberries with a different recipe in mind, but this recipe was too adorable to pass up! Made with fresh fruit, all you have to do is cut the strawberries in half and smother them in melted chocolate. Whether or not you’re a beginner in the kitchen or a master chief who’s pressed for time, this recipe is a guaranteed winner.
Cut the strawberries in half and then connect the halves together with a toothpick. If the toothpick is too long, cut it to size with a pair of scissors. Set the strawberries on a wire rack and spoon melted chocolate, the color of your choice, over the berries to coat. Gently tap the rack against the table to achieve a smooth surface. Repeat with the remaining strawberries, until they're all covered.
Once the chocolate has set, scrape any leftover chocolate (or melt more) into a small plastic bag- a separate bag for each color. Drizzle the chocolate over top of the strawberries to garnish, using a color different from the base coat for maximum visual impact. Allow chocolate to set before serving.
