Cherry M&M Pie Cupcakes

These cupcakes are as cute as they are delicious- and the assembly is as easy as pie! Simply make your favorite cupcake recipe, frost it, and decorate with a circle of M&M’s. Using tan frosting, pipe a lattice work of parallel lines over top of the M&M’s. Add a small ring of frosting around the outer edge of the cupcake et voila. You’re pies are ready!

 red M&M's
 Frosting
 1 box Cake mix

1

Make 24 cupcakes, following the instructions on the back of the box.

2

Dye the frosting tan and frost the cupcakes. Arrange the M&Ms as tightly as they will fit on the top of the cupcake, while still laying flat. Scrape the remaining frosting in a plastic bag and trim the corner off of bag.

3

Carefully draw thin lines of frosting over top of the candy, then rotate the cupcake 90 degrees. Draw additional lines that intersect the existing lines perpendicularly to form the pie's lattice work. Next create small dots of frosting around the outer most edge to make the crimped pie crust edge. Repeat with remaining cupcakes.
