I love how with only three ingredients and a handful of food coloring, you can create a festive October treat that will please everyone from 8 to 80.

Microwave marshmallows and butter together until the marshmallows lose their shape when stirred. Add the rice cereal and stir until well combined. Pat 1 cup of mixture into a circular patty 3 ½ inches in diameter. Measure 2 cups from the remaining cereal mixture and pour into a separate bowl.
Add the 4 drops of red food coloring and 12 drops of yellow coloring, mixing well. Pat the now-orange rice krispies in a band around the white patty. Add the final 12 drops of yellow food coloring to the remaining krispie treats and pat into a band around the orange band, creating a “target” shape. Cool completely, then cut in half, then cut each half into thirds. Stab a lollipop stick into each base and serve.
