Cadbury Egg Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookie Mug Cake

Cadbury Egg Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookie Mug Cake

Assembled inside your favorite heat resistant mug and baked in the oven, this chocolate chip cookie is next level. Inside this unassuming mug-cookie is a secret Easter candy surprise: three Cadbury Crème Eggs! So if you find yourself quarantined in your house with a bucket of Easter candy this 2020, you should totally give this recipe a try. If you live alone, it’s a perfectly sized treat for a single serving. And if you’re trapped with your beloved (but annoying) kids, this is a great kitchen experiment to entertain them. Or, it’s no longer 2020 and freedom of movement has been restored, you should still make this recipe. I promise it’s not the boredom of being trapped inside by a global pandemic that makes it delicious. It’s the chocolate that makes it delicious, silly.

AuthorMackieDifficultyBeginner

8 oz Chocolate chip cookie dough
3 Cadbury creme filled chocolate eggs

1

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

2

Divide the chocolate chip cookie dough into two halves. Pat each half into a circle. Place one of the circles into the bottom of a heat resistance coffee mug. (Choosing the right mug is vital. It will go in the oven and get baked with the cookie dough.)

3

On top of the cookie dough in the mug, place three unwrapped Cadbury eggs. Cover the chocolate candies with the second round of chocolate chip cookie dough.

4

Bake for 20-25 minutes in the oven or until the top is golden brown. Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly. Keep in mind that the mug will be very hot; so if you want to eat the cookie warm, do not grab the handle of the coffee mug and burn yourself.
