Butter Brickle

This is so simple that it doesn’t even warrant a real recipe. But the end result is too tasty not to share, so here’s the two ingredient “recipe.”

AuthorMackieDifficultyBeginner

8 oz bag Toffee candy pieces (look for Heath Bits 'O Brickle in the baking aisle)
 10 oz Dark chocolate, melted

1

Spread the melted chocolate over a sheet of parchment paper until it is a 12 x 7 rectangle of uniform thickness. Cover in candy pieces and gently press the candy into the chocolate. Set the brickle in the fridge for 30 minutes to allow the chocolate to fully set. Break into pieces before serving and store in the refrigerator.

(With a recipe this simple you can try customizing it to your tastes. Try adding finely chopped nuts to the toffee candy or even substituting the dark chocolate for white chocolate or use caramel or toffee chips instead!)
