This beautiful, and tasty, cheesecake will be a show piece at the dinner table.

Make the brownie batter in accordance with the brownie instructions. Pour the batter into a greased 13 x 9 baking dish and smooth the surface with a spatula. Place a layer of Oreos atop the brownie batter; set aside.
Beat the cream cheese until light and creamy. Then add the sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Beat until smooth, then cover the cookies with the cheesecake mixture.
Puree the blackberries in and strain if desired. In a separate small bowl, add the 1 tbsp of sugar and pureed blackberries. Drizzle the blackberry mixture on the cheesecake and swirl for a marbled look.
Bake according to the brownie instructions, or until the cheesecake is firm and a toothpick comes out clean. (Ours took longer than the box instructions claimed.) Cool and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
