6 Layer Brownies

6 Layer Brownies

No one likes to compromise- and these 6 layer brownies say you shouldn’t have to. Boasting six different layers of sugary goodness, this brownie has everything you never knew you needed in a dessert. Oreos? Check. Nutella? You bet. What about cookie butter? Yup, that’s in there too. And it’s all sandwiched between glorious layers of brownie batter.

This dessert really is all that.

6 Layer Brownies

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box Brownie Mix
  • Nutella
  • Oreos
  • Biscoff Cookie Butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Prepare the brownie mix according to the directions on the back of the box. Pour one third of the batter into a parchment paper lined 8 x 8 inch baking pan.
  3. Dot the top of the brownie batter with large spoonfuls of Nutella. Spread Nutella smooth, then top with a second layer of brownie batter. (Again use one third of the brownie batter.)
  4. Press Oreos into the surface of the brownie batter. Then, spread the Biscoff Cookie Butter across the surface of the cookies until the Oreos are completely covered. (My cookie butter was stiff, which made it difficult to spread. To avoid this, try microwaving your cookie butter for 10 or 20 seconds to make it easier to spread.)
  5. Lastly, top your Biscoff Cookie Butter with the last of the brownie batter. Smooth the batter to the edges of the pan until all the layers underneath are completely hidden.
  6. Bake for 45 minutes or until cooked all the way through. (AKA the center is no longer jiggly.) Note that the more layers you have in a dessert, the longer the cooking portion will take, so this will take a while. Now, if at any point the top starts to looks too brown, but the center isn’t fully cooked yet, cover the pan with aluminum foil and keep baking it until it’s fully cooked. Remove from heat and allow to cool before serving.
