5 Ingredient Oreo Cheesecake Cookies
These sweet morsels are overflowing with Oreo goodness. In fact, the creamy filling from the Oreos gives the illusion that these cookies are filled. And filled cookies are always the bomb. Or, wait a second. No, it’s not an illusion- this recipe really does have frosting inside of it! No wonder it’s so good! And then you factor in the tangy cream cheese that keeps them super moist. Oh, yeah, and don’t forget that this a cookie recipe that calls for extra cookies crumbled inside of it! Double the cookie equals double the yum, in my book.
Oh, and did I mention that it only takes five ingredients to make?! Recipes don’t get any better than this!

Now, when I made my cookies, the Oreo bits made my cookie dough very chocolaty; which probably means that I folded them in too vigorously. Not a big deal, but do try not to overmix your goodies into the batter. Overmixing can cause the special goodies to bleed into the main batter. This makes them less of a special feature and more “just another ingredient.” So, learn from my mistake. Or don’t. My cookies came out super delicious and I have no doubt that yours will too.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Beat the butter and cream cheese together until light and fluffy. Add the sugar and beat until thoroughly mixed. Add the flour and mix until uniform. Fold in the Oreo pieces.
Roll the batter into tablespoon sized balls and place on a parchment paper lined cookie sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes. If the edges of the cookies are golden brown, remove from the oven immediately. Set the cookies on a wire rack and allow to cool completely.
